Wow, we're not too sure what others are complaining about... the price is fantastic for the region, sure the hotel is a little dated but we expected this with the price! Realistic expectations and we were very happy! Alberto greeted us so warmly, and of course his English isn't perfect - he is Italian after all! My Italian is terrible, and I'm Australian ;) Rooms were very clean, fan was great (we've had worse!!), location so easy to get to everything around the area. It definitely ticked all our boxes for a simple stay over.
A group of me and my friends stayed here for four nights. It was originally one night but we loved the place and the people working there were so hospitable and friendly that we decided to stay at the same place and extra three nights. The location gives easy access to Maiori and Amalfi coasts, only a few minutes drive away from Maiori. The rooms are not only huge but you get two balconies overlooking a beautiful mountain view with the nature right outside your bedroom and living room. For the price, we were surprised at how clean and modern the interior was for the room we were staying in. The outside may look dated or worn but the interior is modern and has everything you could ask for. The shower and bathroom were well maintain and super clean. There was even a full sized gas stove top if you wanted to cook. But the highlight were the two people we constantly interacted with that worked there. They were welcoming, friendly, and always approached you with an enthusiastic smile. This made our breakfasts in the mornings more enjoyable and being able to ask the guy for help on things or for more information was always easy. We plan on visiting the Amalfi area in the future and when we do we will definitely be relying on this place to stay for long periods :).
